Ever has my life been oriented towards purpose, and my Ethos is woven into everything I do.

While I’ve lived and worked across cultures and industries, ever have I remain grounded in my values, quirks, and personal experience. When it comes to my work, I aim to bring as much of myself as is possible. When I’m freelancing or self-employed, it’s a breeze. In times when I have the constraints of an organisation around me, I choose to make some compromises.

In recent years, I’ve become clear on how I’d like to impact the world in the long term. By embracing radical ways to organise, work, and distribute wealth, I hope to equip others to make their own contributions to purpose-led, post-capitalist alternatives. It’s been tiring trying to nurture this part of my practice solo, so I’m beginning to seek organisations to partner with or join to make an impact.

As far back as I can remember, I’ve been called by mythology, folklore, belief systems, and worlds seen and unseen. It hasn’t always bled into my “work”, but it’s ever-present. My relationship with Spirit and Nature is informed by animism, history, folklore, my ancestors, and past-lives.

In an ideal world, my work is:

  • Focused on impact, first

  • Post-capitalist

  • Non-violent

  • Generative, inclusive, transparent, and ethical

  • Revolutionary

  • Welcoming of all people, belief systems, abilities, genders, races, and sexualities

  • Guided by my Ethos (this one, here!)

  • Non-dogmatic and nuanced

  • Safe for encouraging curiosity and informed discussions

I grew up in what’s known as Sydney, Australia on the unceded lands of the Eora Nation. After living abroad, I have returned in 2023.

I honour the traditional stewards upon whose stolen land I have been privileged to live; first, the Dharawal people - who were the first to experience the violence of British colonists - and now the Gadigal people. Their unflinching spirit in the face of ongoing genocide, racism, and forcible removal under colonialism is a testament to the strength of their communities.

I honour their relationship to this living landscape, and offer up my respect for their warriors and Elders; ancestral, present, and emerging. I know that this land has long been - and will ever remain - their land.

Acknowledgement in solidarity.
